Every grade, every deadline and every course file from all your courses in one panel on top of Brightspace. And for each assignment, the instructions your professor scattered across pages, announcements and posts, gathered in one place.

One assignment. Five places your professor put the details.
The brief in the assignment folder. The rubric in an announcement. A correction buried in the week-7 notes page. A clarification in a discussion thread. A file in a module you never opened. Miss one and you lose marks you earned.

💬 Re: Assignment 2 “the rubric is attached in this thread”
Matching is by name and by number, so “A2”, “Assignment #2” and “assignment 2” all count, and “Lab Assignment 2” doesn't get mixed in. The search box searches all of that text too: type midterm and find the one page that mentions the room number.
Three tabs, every course.
Grades
Every course with your standing on a ring: the released final grade, or an estimate from what's been marked so far, weighted the way the course weights it. Expand for every item, your points and the class average when the professor allows it.
Target calculator. Type the grade you want and it tells you what you need on what's left.
Deadlines
Assignments, quizzes, discussions, surveys, checklists and calendar events from all your courses on one timeline. Submitted ones are green. Overdue and due-within-48-hours stand out. Tick anything off yourself.
Calendar sync. One click adds a deadline to Google Calendar in your time zone, or export them all as a file for Apple or Outlook.
Content
Each course's modules and files in one list. Open any item, download any file without opening it first, or export a whole module as a zip with a manifest.
Full-text search. Across titles, page text, announcements, posts and instructions, in every course at once.
The small stuff, done right.
New since your last visit
Open the panel and the top shows what changed: a grade posted, a file added, a deadline that appeared. A NEW tag on each one, until you've seen it.
A count on the button
The Overview button on every page shows how many things are outstanding, and turns amber or red when something's close or late.
Desktop notifications
A new grade, or something due within 24 hours. Each one once.
Light, dark, or match your system
A switch in the header. Everything was designed in both.
Hide what you don't need
Orientation shells and library courses can go. Past terms come back with one switch.
Keyboard first
Alt+O opens it anywhere. Esc closes it.
Nothing leaves your browser
LMS Overview reads Brightspace with the login you already have, inside your own browser, and keeps a short cache in your browser's storage. It talks to your college's Brightspace and nothing else. No account, no server, no tracking.
Pay once. Keep it for the whole program.
Try everything free for 7 days. Then one payment of CA$15, one licence key, up to 3 devices, every future update included. No subscription.
All three tabs, calendar sync, exports and notifications
Sign in as usual. The Overview button appears at the bottom-left of every page. If your college uses its own domain, click the LMS Overview icon in the toolbar once and choose Use on this site.
Click Overview
Your courses load in a few seconds. That's it. When your trial ends, paste the key from your email into the panel.
Questions
Is this allowed?
LMS Overview only reads your own Brightspace account, with your own login, the same way the Brightspace website does. It doesn't change anything, submit anything, or access anyone else's data. Check your college's acceptable-use policy if you're unsure; it is a read-only view of what you already see.
Does it work at my college?
If your college uses Brightspace (also called D2L), yes. It reads the Brightspace API your browser already talks to. Colleges configure Brightspace differently, so a feature can occasionally be unavailable, in which case the panel says so instead of showing something wrong. A Diagnostics button copies a short technical summary you can send with any bug report.
Can my professor see that I use it?
No. It makes the same requests your browser makes when you open Grades, Content or Announcements. There's nothing to install on their side and nothing is sent to them.
Does the estimate match my real grade?
If your professor has released a final grade, that's what's shown. Otherwise the estimate uses the weights the course defines, over the items that have been marked, so it moves as marks come in. The target calculator uses the same weights.
What about Canvas or Moodle?
Not yet. LMS Overview is built for Brightspace only, so it can go deep rather than wide.
